As from 01/04/2022 – Doctor 24h – Medical Center has been granted official VHI MEDICAL CENTER status.
We offer general medicine / GP appointments, home/ hotel doctor urgent call outs and nursing services 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Our medical team is made up of a team of international doctors and nurses amongst other health care providers.
Medical Director: DR Ben Harry Clegg – Emergency medicine and GP
Head Nurse: Susan Taylor – UK Qualified, over 30 years NHS UK experience
Our medical team covers the following areas:

What does this status mean for VHI policy holders?
If you are visiting Spain and hold a valid VHI insurance back home in Ireland, you do not pay anything to us for your medical costs.
Medical costs include, doctors appointments for urgent and non urgent care, any nursing services, lab tests (blood, stool and urine samples).
If the need arises, you would also be covered by our international team at our sister hospitals.
What details do I need to have on hand in order to use this service?
We would need the following information from you:
Personal details (Full name, Date of birth, Address in Ireland, ID number).
Details of your policy (Policy number) This can be a screen shot on your phone or by presenting the VHI members card to us.
Your travel dates (date arrived into Spain and planned date of leaving)
